98/366 Cool cars

The husband and I went to visit a friend of ours at his garage. He restores cars and the collection he has is unbelievable! I particularly love the 1956 Ford Fairlane in the front.

97/366 Give peas a chance

My broccoli and carrot loving dog and I had a conversation about eating peas. Clearly, I was unable to change her mind.

Happy Passover, y'all! We are having a great Seder this evening!

96/366 Don't be tempted by the shiny apple

All that you have is your soul....

Inspired by one of my favorite Emmylou Harris' songs.

Meeting up with girlfriends for lunch was the highlight of the day. We had a lot to talk about! :)

94/366 Gardening in Georgia

Put the porch back together after the yearly hose down of the pine pollen. Also, spent some time weeding. It may be spring but it is already feeling like summer in Georgia.

Taken with the Lensbaby Muse. I've got a lot to learn!

Another picture taken with the Lensbaby Muse. I LOVE the bokeh but I wish I could have gotten the eyes of the dragonfly in focus. Oh, well. At least his wings look awesome.

93/366 White Poppy

White on white was a lot harder than I bargained for. I love the crisp clean look of white backgrounds but I think I need to buy some studio lights for the set ups. I just couldn't get this to come out shadow-free.

92/366 The little issue of my pantry OCDism

By trade, I'm a teacher. That being said, I have been completely unable to train the man of the house (my husband, just in case you were wondering) on the ways the pantry should be organized.

To him, it needs no organization just as long as said food items are able to reside on a shelf. The door may or may not be closed.

Several years ago, I tried (in vain) to label the shelves to help him remember/figure out/care about where specific food items should be housed. It did not work. Finally, I just resigned myself to periodically cleaning out and organizing the chaos.

Today was one of those days and that just makes me happy (is it sad that an organized pantry makes me happy?).

Seriously, this picture is way more fun here.
