Just for fun, the man and I jumped in the truck and went cruising up Highway 41. We drove through six small towns, occasionally stopping or driving off the main highway just to look around. The temperature was in the upper 60s allowing us to have the sunroof open. The breeze, the setting sun, the music on the radio... it was such a peaceful evening -- and a perfect date night.
We ended by eating at a little Thai restaurant before turning around to go back home.
We passed a carnival graveyard. We passed some recycling places, metal scrap yards, a cypress mulch place... it was all rustic and awesome!
