At the track this evening, a young mockingbird was sitting in a crepe myrtle. The mother was fussing at us and was highly upset that we were anywhere near her baby. Even with her beak full of worm, she was squawking up a storm!
While I don't want to try it, that baby really seemed to enjoy having that worm shoved down his throat.
Nature is so cool!
