Sometimes the way home isn't so obvious

Got up and ran in a local 5K. When I got home, I realized a bird was trapped on the porch. She must have gotten in when the door was slightly cracked for the dog.

The poor bird was frantically calling out to other birds. She couldn't figure out how to get past the screen. Finally, she saw the door propped wide open for her and flew out.

All is well that ends well!
