It is the only time of the year when I love the azaleas

They are just so beautiful when they are blooming! And then they are just a boring bush for the other eleven and a half months of the year.

Before I married my husband, I lived in a house with azaleas lining the entire property. Every summer, I had to trim back all the bushes (there were a LOT). Every summer, I got bitten by at least one spider.

At my current house, I had my husband dig up several azaleas. We only kept a couple because they are of the dwarf variety.

For the most part, I am so over azaleas.

We're supposed to get snow tomorrow, so I'm loving your flowers.

Hope you're well. xo

I LOVE THEM!!! I once had a hot pink/coral one that literally would stop traffic. People would ring our doorbell and ask us what kind of flowers they were.

But you live in the Azalea City!
I'm with you, though. I've successfully gotten rid of 20 or so huge plants, and I have at least 20 to go. It would be ok if they didn't grow 10 feet tall every single year!
Purty picture with nice color, too.
