Summertime

There are baby caterpillars on the fennel plant again! We actually grow it just for the Swallowtails. Soon, the caterpillars will take this plant down to a nub. It is fun to watch and I love the smell of licorice that you can smell from the fennel as the critters eat.

Now, all I have to do is protect them from the wasps.
